Asset Model Library and Model Definition

Asset model library provides a collection of both physics based models, as well as AI/ML models for different types of assets and enables you to monitor the condition of an equipment in an easy and modular way. An individual asset, be it pump, compressor and so on, during its healthy mode of operation, must follow certain constraints. These constraints or rules are specified by certain equations, and the threshold values to be satisfied. In a healthy operation, the system will work within the thresholds, and will breach it if a fault arises.

Asset Model Library Workflow

An asset model is a collection of such rule based or AI/ML based constraints for a given asset. This asset model is a template of the rules. For actual condition monitoring, this asset model needs to be configured with an equipment. Asset Model Library is a collection of such asset models. The functionality of Asset Model Library allows you to create a copy or edit the existing asset models or create a new asset model.

To access the Predictive Maintenance Workplace application, go to Genix Platform > Digital Apps Center > My Apps > APM Model Deployment and Configuration > Model Deployment and Configuration Select the Asset Model Library and Model Definition module. The Asset Model Library is displayed.

The Asset Model Library consists of two tabs:

By default, the Generic Asset Models tab is displayed.

The following sections provide the details and actions you can perform in the Generic Asset Models tab and the Specific Asset Models tab.
